Welcome

Our second active tournament season with the motto "courage to gap" is almost over now. We have all experienced an exciting, exciting, exhausting, fun, tearful, great, overwhelming and wonderful 2023 tournament season with the best team. We are all proud of our ponies and proud to have achieved all our goals in this intensive tournament season. The season started early, in icy cold and snow, with a training tournament at the BigDD Ranch with Jürgen Malo and Franziska Heidenreich. This was followed by a training day on a friendly riding facility nearby. We continued with an educational and interesting training tournament of the DQHA on the Little King Ranch. In mid-April we went to the rainy, muddy, but successful first EMU C tournament this year at the Klesa-Hof.
In May we continued with the first exciting RHCG tournament of the season at the Little King Ranch. At the end of May we made our way to Birkholz to the Horse-Company for the first EWU AQ/C tournament. June brought us on two weekends to Bantikow to the Banti-Cow Ranch. On the one hand to our third EWU C tournament and on the other to the RHCG tournament, which has been popular for years. The EWU C tournament in Herzberg on the Double-W-Ranch started in July, followed by the exciting EWU national championship Ride East 2023 in Birkholz at the Horse-Company. Some of us dared to travel far and wide to participate in the super organized Ride of America 2023 at Cirle-L Ranch.

Our club would like to promote the popular sport of western riding.
We would like to offer courses, workshops and advanced training courses in all aspects of western riding, regardless of whether you are a beginner or an ambitious competition rider.
Various events are planned, e.g. show season preparation courses, shows within the club and outside the club.

At the end of July we went to the very successful RHCG German Championship in Ranch Sorting and Cattle Penning at the Big DD Ranch in Steckeldorf. We were able to take home four of 5 German championship titles. In August we went back to Birkholz to the Horse-Company to participate in the EWU AQ/C tournament. As our penultimate tournament this season, we drove to Jürgen Malo in Koppenbrück in very warm temperatures and successfully participated in our 4th RHCG tournament. The EMU Youth Camp 2023 on the Banti-Cow Ranch, five young people from the Little King Ranch trained successfully with Lucy Adams and Henrike Lindenblatt. Unfortunately, we had to leave on Saturday evening, because on Sunday already the next exciting date was due, it took place the largest breeding show in Germany of the DQHA with us on the Little King Ranch.
8 foals from the breeding of Little King Ranch have achieved a 1A premium. The winner foal "LKR Chilli" has achieved an overall rating of 83.48%. One of the best reviews in the type with 95.24% of the Little King Ranch was placed 3rd. Between the tournaments, our coaches Tom Beetz and Anna Rotschild trained diligently.
For the end of the season we travelled a lot and visited Friedrichshafen. We went to Americana 2023 and were fascinated by the many impressions for a week. From the first to the last day, we cheered on Henrike Lindenblatt, Lucy Adams, Sabine Lamberts, Jürgen Malo and Uwe Roeschmann at every tournament start. Of course, the shopping did not go down and we needed a trailer to take home everything we bought. It was a great time with many friends and acquaintances at the Americana 2023. We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all who made this great, successful season possible.

PS at the end a few numbers for the statisticians ;-). We drove ~15,000km, participated in 15 tournaments, 224 starts, 183 placings, including 4 German championship titles, a 1st place in the EWU Berlin/Brandenburg Trophy, a Horse and Dog Trophy and a place in the top 10 of the Future Cup of the EWU.
